Dr. David Baer and Dr. James DeLine
Dr. James DeLine is a board certified general surgeon. His practice, located in Englewood, Colorado, includes the broad spectrum of General Surgery with an emphasis on Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is specially trained in Advanced Laparoscopic and daVinci surgical techniques and is a proctor for the daVinci Platform. Dr. DeLine has extensive experience in the general surgery arena of Endocrine Surgery, which includes thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, spleen and pancreas procedures. He is specialized in the use of the daVinci Platform for inguinal and ventral hernia repair, cholecystectomy, as well as, colon and small bowel surgery. His special interests include the surgical care of all types of Endocrine disorders and the repair of complex and recurrent abdominal wall and incisional hernias.
Dr. DeLine is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the South Western Surgical Society, a member of the Society of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons, and a member of ADEMS. Dr. DeLine is the recipient of the 2015 Doctor's Care Award voted by the ADEMS members. He currently serves on the board of the Colorado Ambulatory Surgical Center Association, CASCA, and is committed to the delivery of safe, advanced surgical services at an affordable price to Colorado's healthcare consumers. Dr. DeLine also serves on the board of Jeremiah's Hope, an organization specializing in surgical missions to Cambodia. Dr. DeLine has participated in 10 surgical missions to Cambodia. He has found each one to be an invaluable and fulfilling experience.
Dr. DeLine is a native of Denver, Colorado. He attended Creighton University for his undergraduate studies earning his degree in chemistry. He then attended Creighton University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Alpha Sigma NU National Jesuit Honor Society. His internship and residency were completed at St. Joseph's Hospital, Denver. Dr. DeLine, a General Surgeon who specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery, has practiced in Englewood, Colorado since the completion of his surgical residency in 1989.
